Previous Stories

Cori Tippetts' early writing journey involved five novels. A couple of "first pancakes" and three which she independently published. She did not dive into self-publishing as a career, however, as her goal has always been to be traditionally published. Those three novels are still available, though in 2021 Cori decided to no longer self-publish in order to firmly pursue traditional publishing.

Since that time she has stockpiled three of her stories (see Upcoming tab). To learn about her previous work, preview what readers have said about them below:

The Ocean’s Daughter

"As I was reading, I felt like I appreciated anew all of the beautiful and sacred aspects of love. I cried and felt like I had found something inside of myself that I'd lost. I know I've found one of those books that becomes a heart-friend; one that you read once a year, every year, for the rest of your life."

Laura Brower, Goodreads

"A beautiful work of art painted with words. This book had me laughing one minute and crying the next. I absolutely loved it!"

Wendy Wall, Amazon

"My favorite part of this book is the way the author can construct the love a parent has for a child. This type of love is so hard to describe, but she does it perfectly. I genuinely felt like her book gives words to how my heart and soul feel about my own children."

Tessa Taylor, Amazon

Finalist for the National Indie Excellence Award

In arm's reach of The Snow Child and The Light Between Oceans, this breathtaking tale that reminds us the difference between the ordinary and the extraordinary is often no difference at all.

Where Green Meets Blue

"It had my heart racing and my stomach clenching with anxiety. Then the end was written so beautifully and demonstrated the writer's gift with thought and word. I will read anything she writes."

Lola Copeland, Goodreads

"This book will suck you in and not let you go until a tear falls down your cheek at the last page. I loved every moment of it."

Melissa W., Amazon

"I started it one day and ended up staying up til 2 am to finish it the following night! Positive, uplifting and refreshing!!"

Mallory Pierce, Amazon

Inspired by the courageous and passionate pack horse librarians of the 1930s, Where Green Meets Blue intertwines the roots of The Giver of Stars with all the imagination and resilience we love in Anne of Green Gables.

Once We Soared

"Wow, this book was amazing! It kept me on the edge of my seat continually wondering what could possibly happen next! She is by far one of my favorite authors!"

Marci Crawford, Amazon

"I have never read anything like it. Her writing is beautiful. I frequently re-read her poetic descriptions, because I really wanted the depth of the moment being described to sink in my mind and my heart."

J Barnes, Amazon

"One of the very best books I've read lately!"

Alayna J, Amazon

In the vein of Ally Condie's Matched and Drew Barrymore's Ever After, comes a superb dystopian romance about the power of a choice to influence hundreds of lives to come.
